The main purpose for using stripper rubbers is to clean or strip away fluids, mud, oils and other possible contaminants from tubing while it’s being rotated, worked in or pulled out. Our BIW-Style stripper rubbers are made from highly durable rubber compounds that are specially formulated to withstand abrasions and tears.

Double E Rod stripper rubbers efficiently remove oil and other fluids from the rod string being pulled from the well. The special abrasion and wear resistant compound used in the stripper rubbers assures maximum product service life. 

Tubing stripper rubbers have been used for decades to help provide safe and cleaner working environments when running or pulling tubing string. 

As tubing goes in or out of the hole it is wiped by the LSR or other stripping rubber to minimize fluid waste. The LSR Housing is used to hold the LSR housing to help provide a clean and safe working environment. As moving tubing string through the LSR, the housing secures the LSR in place to reduce movement of the LSR.

In general, they’re used to clean away or strip debris, mud and fluids from certain well equipment. In particular, rod stripper rubbers are made to remove oils, fluids and other materials from sucker rods as they’re being pulled from wells.
